TWU fall 2023 applicants

Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

It is the email confirming your application was processed successfully and the process of deciding who is accepted and rejected started. Just another benchmark in the few month process haha.

Basically they've reviewed everyone's application and weeded out the ones that are incomplete or scores/GPA do not meet minimum. Just an email saying that your application is eligible to be considered for admittance to the nursing program.

Does anyone know what has been the lowest GPA and prereq GPA accepted?

I think it was 3.4 for prereq last semester

Do you guys know which hospital TWU Nursing students go for the clinical??? I am just curious about it ?

They go to a few and can change.  I know for sure they go to Children's in Dallas for their pediatric rotation bc I work there and they're on my unit a lot bc the clinical instructors were nurses on my unit prior!

Hmm.. Interesting the Eligibility email still hasn't been sent out? Seems like the pattern historically was through 3/1-3/8ish so I'll toughen out a little longer! So nervous througout out this whole waiting game we're all playing. Best of luck to all haha

Is anyone else concerned that the longer wait time is an indicator that the number of applicants was higher than normal this year? Or am I just over analyzing because I'm nervous and stressed? ??

Yeah I have felt that way too lolol but trying to not get in my head too much.  It's hard ?

I'm thinking the same! But my hope is up, I'm praying I get in. Like previously stated I won't let it get in my head LOL.

I'm just pretending that the person who sends the emails out had a dentist appointment on Friday and took yesterday off. Haha. Who knows! Could be a million and one reasons. Fingers crossed for emails by the end of this week!
