Twu Fall 2009 Applicants

Published

Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:

Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.

We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again

I am positive, upbeat and excited.

TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:

Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:

I also want to be a nurse educator. If it was up to me I would develop a program for those people such as you and I that have struggled to get to where we are hoping to be "Nursing School."

We are great students, but there is not always enough room.

Specializes in NICU.

I use to want to be a nurse midwife and shadowed some at parkland when I was a volunteer but decided I didn't want to do that everyday. Right now I'm looking at NNP or CRNA. But whatever I chose I want to be a practitioner and not just do beside nursing. I want more autonomy

You are going to do it.....remember i told you this:)

I believe if it's part of God's plan, it will be done. If it's not, it won't. Either way having and keeping your faith during this process and all you will face if you are in nursing school is the important thing

You are absolutely right! I am a firm believer in God and all he is and stands for in my life. He knows what is best for me and you!

It is great that we can rely on each other for the uplift that we will need as we face the weeks to come.

God has put me in touch with some awesome people on this website and this was part of his plan for sure.

I'm great to here there are some people I can connect with on here. I've gotten closer to God these last few months and the change I've seen in myself and things that are happening is truly amazing. His grace and mercy continues to show in my life

What a true blessing for you! Our lives do not always go the way we see, but if you look back the reason it did not go our way was because God had a better plan. Isn't it awesome to know you do not have to worry because he has the answer.

Turning our lives over to him is hard...very hard. It burdens me to know that there are people that only turn to him when they are down and out...how about Praising him always! God is not a quicker-picker upper...he is forever and needs to dwell in our hearts every day of our lives.

I know there are some of you thinking does she want to become a nurse or a pastor well to answer your question...a nurse that pastors to the sick and well.:)

As far as the letter it is just a single letter acceptance/rejection.

We are on a roll today....just think two more days and March is upon us...

Just a tid bit of information...the process is going faster this time around.

how do you think it's going faster?

Specializes in NICU.

nhoward are u only applying to the Houston campus only or both?? Have you met the computer literacy competency requirement?? I know they sent out the email today. Do you know what area of nursing you want to go into??

what is the computer literacy requirement? It's asking if you've taken a computer class right?

yes, I only applied to the Houston campus. You?

And.. I'm not sure what field I want to go into I'm thinking Intensive Care though. We'll see..
