Wanted to check in and see how things are going?

Oh my goodness I know this may sound odd, but I am glad to know I am not the only person that got rejected (I really did feel like I was the only one) for the Spring 09 at TWU, I have to retake patho next semester and well I NEED to pass it.

Did you drop the class this semester?

In patho I feel like I study so much and get no where, I understand a lot of the material, but I just can't seem to pass the test. I mean I record the lectures, I re-listen to them, I rewrite my notes, I look up stuff. I didn't drop the class cause I couldn't afford to due to my financial aid.

Do you have any advice on what else I can do?

Also, are you taking Patho here at TWU in Denton?

Yes, I am taking Patho in Denton.

I took Patho. at UTA before this class and it is day and night in comparison.

It is not the information it is understanding how the test is given. You have to master a certain test taking skill for this class.

When you get your test and start with question #1 cover up all the possible answers to that question. Ask yourself what do you know about this question. Some people even myself in the beginning let all the choices cloud their mind and it gets confusing especially when you think there may be two answers. Know the information forward and backwards.

Do not get discouraged, please.

Things are ok with me. Just about to finish this semester on the 8th then no more school till I get accepted!!!! I will be applying again for the fall but this time with a 3.75 gpa so this should get me in. How are you doing??

track record! Be proud of yourself.

I am taking my Patho. final on Thursday and will be so glad when

that is over and I can put that behind me.

I also applied for the TWU 09 but my app couldn't be completed because i didnt take enough hours. What was you guys GPA? and how did you feel about the net test?

Well as far as gpa....3.71 and a 67 net score.

I am confident going into the next application period and I remain faithful that GOD will continue to guide me on the whole journey. I have never given up on him and I know he will NEVER give up on me. There have been times I have questioned him, but he always has the right answer.

WOW!!! Can someone please expain the .4 advantage that they give students at TWU? My father seems to think that they give preference to students taking classes there so I enrolled in a spring 09 class for multicultural women's studies.
