Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.

princess and everyone else you are in my prayers every nite. i know this is a difficult time now, and these numbers people are throwing out are scary, but you will be fine. now M E. i should be the one crying over here, but im gonna keep it calm. remember in the other post you said what is done is already done. God has made his decision. just keep praying and asking for help through this difficult time and it will be over. what if out of that 700 only 100 wanted houston, and odds are if they didnt get accepted to the dallas campus their gpa cant be that high, so odds are probably yours is higher. we dont know anything yet, just keep praying.
We are back in this rut again! Someone gets on the board and gives a little bit of information and everyone starts PANIC MODE.
First be calm...we were told by one of our forum mates that so many applicants applied...once again HOW MANY WERE ELIGIBLE...The word apply and eligible two different words so logically speaking we DO NOT HAVE THE FACTS to even come to a real conclusion.
Variables to equation: How many applied, how many eligible and how many with a .4 advantage and GPA/NET or who chose Dallas v. Houston...SO we have let me see 7 variables that will play significant parts in the process of who gets what!
i dont get the difference between eligible and applied. you only need a 3.0 to apply of course, but are you saying that some applied with lower than that, because if they at least had a 3.0 arent they eligible.
Listen the Fast Track Applicants have till tomorrow to respond to their
acceptance after that they can add those people to database for traditional program and then run the numbers.
Princess you are right: say an applicant applies to Dallas doesn't get in (first choice), but is willing to move...if he/she falls into place as far as GPA/Net for Houston campus that can/will totally happen whether you chose Dallas/Houston as your first choice. This can go either way. Now if you only chose Dallas and do not make it then you are not put into the Houston list.
