Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:
Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again
I am positive, upbeat and excited.
TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:
Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:
tvcc is a community college for kaufman, tarrent, and another county. I got certified to be a CNA back 06. Only bad thing about that is it's hard to get in a hospital unless you know someone. You can easily do a nursing home. Pay isn't that great but you do get experience. I did work for a rehab company for about 3 months but the money isn't all that great and I had student loans and things to pay for so I can to use my bio degree.
nhoward there are a lot of guys who make great NICU nurses. I know most guys have thought about CNRA and I thought I would ask since you said ICU
nhoward I'm really sorry. I don't know why I thought you were a guy this whole time. I guess since my best friend's last name is howard I just assumed but I see where assuming things gets you. I hope you take my apology. Just remember those babies in the NICU you would be helping and not hurting.
Hello my friends!
My dad passed away 7 years ago from prostate cancer. I miss him so very much!
Prettyladie I am going to put your father on my prayer list for sure...do you mind telling me at least his first name so I can name him personally in my prayers.
CNA sounds great. I received my CNA license from North Carolina about ten years ago. It does not have any weight as far as your TWU admission. After your first semester of Nursing School you will have all the requirements to work as a CNA if you would like to. I thought about obtaining my Phlebotomy certification.
I enjoy talking to all of you and I do believe we make an excellent team:)
hahahaha im sorry i busted out laughin. you were like im not a guy? hahaha. but yeah tvcc is not in tarrant county. the campuses are in kaufman, terrell, athens and palestine. in tarrant county its Tarranty County Community College..TCC, maybe thats what you were thinking...but i know some people who work at Baylor hospital and Parkland Hospital so maybe when I get my cna they can help me out, but i doubt it because they arent doing such a good job when im lookin for one right now...
but yes thank you so much for the prayers. his name is david. my name is davaion just fyi.. you say it like day. v. in. lol. but yeah the doctor says everything looks good so far, they said they think they caught it early and in the first stages, so we're still praying. thanks so much. but im so sorry to hear about your father, and princess im sorry to hear about your mother. you all seem so strong and that is amazing. we're gonna be nurses for sure this time!
Sorry I meant terrel and not tarrant. I know some nurses who graduated from there and work in parkland. You could look into methodist to work as a CNA. I know they have the agreement with el centro and mountainview to let 20 of their people in the program. I saw your post on the CRNA forum and it's not the same TWU. They are refering to Texas Weslyan University which is in Fort Worth. Are you interested in CRNA?? Being strong comes with age.
