TWU Applicants Spring 2011

Hello Everyone,

Well I am currently looking to apply to TWU for Spring 2011. I thought it would be nice to start a thread because I am sure we will all need a good support system. The whole application process is so STRESSFUL!

Lets Get It Started!!!

I wouldn't fret just yet ( I know, easier said that done!). I know when I get mail from TWU the letterhead is usually dated 2-3 weeks prior. I can't imagine it takes that long to get to Flower Mound from Denton, LOL. They're probably still sitting in a bucket of outgoing mail somewhere! ;)

Thanks sysjl for clarifying. Hmmm... I wonder if that was when they started sending them out. I would imagine I would have received something (whether acceptance or not) already if they sent them out last Tues. :S Nerve racking!!

I would call the nursing office in Dallas or Denton and ask if acceptance letters were sent. They have always been so helpful with my questions.

Hey guys,

I was talking to one of my friends who applied at TWU last spring and she said

if the weekend letters were sent out. That means they have a certain day to accept the offer from twu, and then once all of them accept, they put everybody who was an applicant for the weekend program into the 2 year program pool. After that we should know something for the regular program.

Finally got all of my stuff sorted out with the college of nursing. Now I play the waiting game again...

I am still nervous....:sstrs: I called last week and found out that there were over 600 people who applied...The advisor also told me that they will know something as early as 2 weeks....So I guess we are looking at the end of October...

I was curious so I checked the spring 2010 class and they all received something via email on October 30 if they got accepted or not.

So...I guess that means we may know by Friday, October 29?!?

Nervous too...I really doubt I'lll get in though. I scored low on my TEAS but I do have a high gpa. : / c

When I met with my advisor in September, he said at the latest everyone should know something by the first week in November. He also said the top percent of applicants would know a few weeks sooner, so I'm surprised no one has heard anything yet.

I checked with the office last week to see if they had an updated eta and they just said keep checking your email. LOL, not a problem, I only refresh it 100 times a day waiting for a response!

I applied for the Weekend program and have yet to hear anything! :/ Waiting patien... uhh... yeah, nervously!
