TWU Applicants Spring 2011

I had all A's in my lectures, but a B (89.4! ugh, darn absences!) in micro lab. So that completely negates my lecture grade.

Ugh! That is awful! SOOOO close and so frustrating! I do think TWU needs to separate out all of the lab and lecture grades! Everyone should get credit for what you actually made As in! You will be fine though! Your other grades are great and your TEAS score is very impressive! You will have no problems getting in!

I did see the nursing addition on Blackboard. It looks like they have about 625 on the "roster". I wonder if that's how many people applied. I like having the link available to me but I agree with the others...I immediately thought it was wrong to post the names of people that were contacted regarding "low GPA" and such. Wonder if that will change...

Well, it is officially October! Hopefully we will all hear something this month! Good luck everyone!

I also saw the nursing addition on blackboard, its not there anymore though. I noticed that the applicants who applied last spring found out Oct 30 which was a Friday, so hopefully we will find out Oct 29 which is a Friday as well or sooner!

@SEargle where did you see 625? I didn't see that when I saw the list of ppl. I just saw the no teas scores, low teas scores & teas 4 scores.

The list of no teas scores was a bit large, but I'm thinking it was a system malfunction. Bc @ Sysjl had the same problem.

Ah, just reading some of these posts freak me out! I'm so anxious that I won't get in. Nothing I can do about it at this point!

The 625 was under the roster or the email list for the individuals that are in that organization (the nursing upper level applicants/Spring 2011). You can view the same list for any of your classes on Blackboard. There were 25 pages of names/emails with about 25 people on each page. I saw my name on there and a couple other people that I know are applying for the Spring 2011 sememster. I really don't know if that's how many people applied. I was just guessing it was at least that many...
I saw that they took my connection to the "organization" off Blackboard. Probably best since they had some sensitive info on there.

I never did get to see the link on blackboard, the part you saw for the weekend program sending out acceptance letters Tues., was that for last year or for this year? Because I applied for the weekend program, and haven't heard anything from TWU yet.

When I saw it it was under the 2010 folder.

Thanks sysjl for clarifying. Hmmm... I wonder if that was when they started sending them out. I would imagine I would have received something (whether acceptance or not) already if they sent them out last Tues. :S Nerve racking!!

If you aren't accepted, does the rejection/regret letter tell you why? Just curious if it says "due to low TEAS score" or "Low GPA".

I don't think it tells you why you weren't accepted @ merandmalmom, I think you would need to call or see your advisor.

I didn't apply for the weekend program & I'm not sure how many they usually accept each semester. But I also saw the same thing Bharvey did. If I remember correctly I counted around 24 names that were accepted to the weekend program. But I'm not sure if that is correct.
