Trump's RACIST GOP Walks Out After the US Senate Vote for Our Next Supreme Court Justice!

Published

The fringe of the GOP party including Mitt Romney joined with Democrats to vote 53/47 in the US Senate to solidify Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as our next Supreme Court Justice and make US History!  On another historical matter, the racist Trump-supporting GOP walked out after the vote:

Trump's GOP walked out because she is a black woman and qualified, which is everything the Trump-supporting sycophant politicians hate!  This includes the jealous losers like Cancun, Ted Cruz, wishy-washy-doesn't-know-what-he-really-thinks-unless-he-polls-Trump, Lindsey Graham, and stick-man-and-supporter-of-the-insurrection-on-January-6, Josh Hawley.  Thankfully, the latter three will never be a US President and they will never be seated on the US Supreme Court!

The original post stated "RACIST GOP walks out...." in all caps.

Are you saying that it was the walking out that was racist behavior?  If so, my response is the same.

Of course, Tucker Carlson and white supremacists like Alex Jones are gaslighting the Senate hearing right now.  The far-right media is spinning the narrative that supports racist behaviors as simply politics or a disagreement.  In reality, and not one made up by the right-wing media, politics in the Senate after a hearing is a simple "no" vote.  Racism in its disgusting form is what we saw with our own eyes as the Senators walked out!   By the way, the gaslighting on this issue is not working with the majority of Americans, but you won't hear that on Fox Noise.

Republicans walked out of the Senate chamber during a standing ovation as Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed as the first Black female Supreme Court justice in US history.

Video footage showed several Republican senators leaving their seats and heading to the exits as applause erupted in the chamber after the Senate voted 53-47 to confirm her to the Supreme Court on Thursday.

Perhaps you would post a link to the video you referenced.

And suppose they did this, leave after the vote was tallied, and apparently business completed for the day.  Is there some reason that they should have stayed?

Perhaps the historical significance could  have been a reason to stay until the applause was over.

I usually watch inauguration and state of the union speeches, not because it's "my team", but for the historical content and significance. I have been to sporting events where a player from the visiting team achieved some sort of milestone, and gave them the applause I felt they were due. I have also clapped at the end of movie that had a profoundly moving message.

Our President cheapened the historical significance of her nomination.

I'm not sure what you mean since you didn't explain.

Granted announcing that he was choosing an African American female to the Supreme Court in his campaign promises diminished the significance somewhat.

Like I said, voting against her on philosophy is one thing.  She will probably be pro-abortion for example.   But the "if you voted for her you're pro-pedphelia" and other nonsense cheapened it more than Biden every could have.

But it didn't dim the light of those that I've seen celebrating her.  It just showed how harder African American women have to go to succeed in a white man's world and gave her triumph more meaning.

I don't know anyone who is "pro-abortion" but I do know many who are pro choice.  There's a huge difference and I'm pretty sure you understand the subtleties.

Do you believe that the nomination was "cheapened" because he promised to nominate a female of color?  As if in the whole wide country, there wasn't a single woman of color that deserved that seat?  Wow?  It was perfectly OK when Trump put into position judges not recommended by the ADA or with a lack of experience.  Those were OK because they were white?  Wow.

Yes, he cheapened it by announcing it ahead of time that the most important qualification was that the  nominee will be a black woman.

No, that's not at all what I said.  If you've paid attention to this thread,  you know that.

Did you mean the ABA?  Which judges are you speaking of?
