A while ago I posted asking about the nursing program application process at Tri-C. I just wanted to update that I received acceptance into the Spring 2010 semester . The process was actually pretty fast. I am very excited. Hope to hear from others that will also start at Tri-C in the Spring.
NewStart2010:yeah:
All you need to apply to the program is:
English 1010
Math 1200 or greater
Psych 1010
Bio 1100 or Chem 1010 & 1020
I would call them and get the info to take the A2 test and the Background check info now.
They are currently seating for Spring 2012. I would get A&P II and Micro knocked out this summer. Then take Bio 2600 Pathophysiology, HTECH 1610 Intro to Pharmacology, and Diet 1200 Basic Nutrition this Fall. Then over one of your summers off I would bang out English 1020.
This may be a silly question.. but I will be starting the Evening/Weekend program at the Eastern Campus this Fall and I just noticed that the class schedule is up for viewing for Fall 2011 and just took a look at it. So, my question is that even though I am admitted to the Evening/Weekend program, does this mean that I can only take Evening/Weekend nursing classes or will I be able to take a day nursing class if I choose to? I wasn't sure if those were restricted to just day nursing students or what.
ScottESince we are starting in August, when do you think we will get our information on getting our vaccines and cpr classes done? By the way, how are your classes coming along so far? Are they hard and/or very time consuming?
Thanks
The orientation for Fall is normally late April or early May. Keep in mind they don't mail anything anymore it's all sent to your tri-c email. I would expect the email to go out in the next couple of weeks. As far as classes it's easy for me, but I'm the exception that proves the rule. There are quite a few people in my class that are barely passing or just outright failing.

Thanks for the info Scott! I found out the orientation date today because I am getting married in May and I wanted to make sure it didn't happen to fall on the Friday I was getting married and I found out the orientation is the day before my Wedding.....Whoo...Barely Made it! I am going to have a hectic week but it will be well worth it.
Well, that is good you are doing well and it's easy for you. That sucks that those others are failing....I feel like a lot of people don't give all of the effort required and they are just taking up space someone else who is more serious about it could have used.
