Ok go onto the Blackboard 9.1 version and click onto the "Course" Tab. Type into the Course search box at the top of the left hand side. Type in "Orientation" and it display a list...I believe the Nursing Orientation is the third one down. Click on the arrows that are pointing down and Enroll into the orientation course. Hope that helps :)

Hi deniseashley, Are you logging on the the Blackboard 8.0 or 9.1 version? I am not sure, but I believe you have to access it from 8.0. You would click on resources and then select the nurse orientation tab and go from there. Good Luck!

There are a lot of things to get done before starting the program. I need to get started now because June will be here before we know and that is when everything is due. I signed up for CPR already and now I guess I need to get shot records and shots done.

LeahMarie, I was not aware of this either. I chose the evening/night because the Eastern campus was closer to me vs. the metro.

Hi DramaQueen, They haven't sent out any additional info since asking if people wanted to transfer. We should be getting an email in April. Which campus are you going to and will you be day or evening?

qcobra, Oh by the way, congrats on your getting married. And no, they haven't sent the emails out yet. They said to look for the email in April.

I just called them and explained my wedding and honeymoon situation and they told me. I wanted to make sure I didn't book my honeymoon during the orientation date so they understood and told me. I think the date is different for the accelerated program. The generic orientation date is May 26th.

Thanks for the info Scott! I found out the orientation date today because I am getting married in May and I wanted to make sure it didn't happen to fall on the Friday I was getting married and I found out the orientation is the day before my Wedding.....Whoo...Barely Made it! I am going to have a hectic week but it will be well worth it. Well, that is good you are doing well and it's easy for you. That sucks that those others are failing....I feel like a lot of people don't give all of the effort required and they are just taking up space someone else who is more serious about it could have used.

Did they cancel South Pointe I wonder? That is the closest one to me but either way, I have to go wherever is available.

Wow LeahMarie, You have been waiting a little while to actually start the program. But you are right...time does fly and our orientation is coming up in May and that is right around the corner. I am so anxious and ready to get it going already :-)
