Hello Room,

I've been an lpn for 5 yrs, and I've been wanting to Travel for a long time. I'm not sure which company uses lpn's the most or the best. I want to travel to Hawaii but, now i think I'm moving there. So, i need to know what is the best option Travel and work or Live there and work. If anyone knows of any good travel company's for lpn's please let me know or if there are any good places for lpn's to work in hawaii. Please let me know where to start.

There is a Travel Nurse section. You may want to enter your question there.

There are many listing for travel nursing agencies within popular nursing magazines. Take your pick and call them up. I considered travelling as an LPN about 3 years ago. At that time I applied with some of the companies. The next thing I knew they were leaving messages on my machine nearly every day telling of job offers. If things haven't changed dramatically since then, you shouldn't have a problem. Keep in mind that some agencies require one year experience as a nurse and some require one year hospital based experience. Some don't require any level of experience.

I've sent a couple thread and have had no response,

story of my life.

sometimes you won't get responses or if you do, you won't like them. try under travel nursing.....much luck to you.

Chances are if no one is responding then we don't have an answer.

Just MHO, but I would stay far, far away from any agency that did not require any level of experience. Patient safety and your license are not a priority for them - dollars are. You have to watch your own back as a traveler and keep in mind that most recruiters are not and have never been nurses - they have no clue about the responsibility that comes with a license, they just want that commission.
