Welcome to the site
Unfortunately to nurse in the EU you need to be a RN plus meet that countries RN requirements and Language exams. Easier if a RN with a EU passport or a passport from a country within the EU but still needs to be a RN
Oh ok i see... well then hopefully i can get my RN done soon! haha thanks again!
Once you have done your RN check out the International forum, things may change but currently many countries employers will not assist if outside the EU to get a work permit and we do not have travel nurses in the same way as the US.
Good luck

The LPN/LVN nursing designation is not acceptable for purposes of foreign sponsorship.
For most countries, you will need to be an RN with educational attainment at the baccalaureate (BSN) level.

hi mine, im not a licensed PN but i will be gong there by next month with the help of my auntie who is in LOndon right now and working as a Physical Therapist for about 3 years...i will be working with their nursing home also...
for me you do not need to become an RN just to go in other places because it depends on you on how you have the so called "Diskarte"

In what capacity have you received your work permit because I will be very surprised if going as a nurse as very hard to get work permit and NMC will not accept you if less than a RN when overseas trained. Would also add there is no shortage of carers and requirements for work permits within the EU is employer own citizen first then EU before rest of world and if you are on a student visa you can only work so many hours usually 20 hours

I think the point this person is making is that s/he is a physical therapist, not an RN. Sounds to me like s/he is responding to the comments to the OP saying that you must be an RN to travel -- or course, what people meant is that you must be an RN (as opposed to an LPN/LVN) to travel as a nurse, not that only nurses can work abroad.
They say their aunt is working as a therapist. A few years ago it wasn't as hard to get a work permit for the UK but now it is and many people coming out of universities as nurses/OT/PT are finding it hard to find work and many nursing homes do not and can not afford their own therapist.
I see your point -- with the lack of punctuation, the sentence can be interpreted either way. I wasn't trying to offer any opinion about the ease or difficulty of getting to work abroad.
I got a Work permit
I got my work permit and i was thanking the lord, i know its been hard to get a work permit nowadays, but its god will to be destined in that place and and use somebody to help you.
There's no harm in trying....
