Top 5 medicine to pass in LTC?

These are the top 5 that I have to have on a daily basis at work. These meds pretty much tells you what kind of residents I have he-he.

Add Robitussin these coming few months ahead :uhoh21:

Well, my number 1 is Docusate!

the inpatient cocktail

Prozac

1. stool softner

2. xanax

3.stomach medication

I am amazed at the patients that are on >3 meds of the same kind such as 3 stool softners or 3 stomach meds.

pain meds, psych meds, bowel meds.:)

How about Chronulac...Haldol...or the new favorite Namenda :rolleyes:

I have one resident on Dig and another on Coumadin.

None on Lasix anymore.

Forgot to add Cardiac meds and Senokot as well :) but I would have to change my "top 5" title to "top ten".
