Hey everyone,
I took the boards yesterday, 10/25/07. My computer shut off at question 115. I don't know how I did. Some questions I felt really comfortable with. And there were other questions that killed me like those select all that apply. I had 4 math problems, which I thought were alot, but Im really good at math so those were like giveaway. I don't feel like I failed, but I feel like I don't know what to expect. I will receive the unofficial results tomorrow. Please Pray for me. But here is some advice I can give other candidates. Clear your mind from the world, pray, definately use the earplug that Pearsons Vue provides, and read the question word for word. Try not to read in between the lines. I think the best preparations are the Lippincott and Saunders Comprehensive Review are good resources. All the best to anyone taking the boards. The hardest the part is waiting for the results. I feel like I'm waiting for a pregnancy test result. LOL. Please, keep me in your prayers that I passed. Thanks. GOD BLESS!

Thanks for your advice. You're definitely right about having a clear mind during the exam -- which I didn't have when I took mine 3 months ago. I am once again trying, but this time I know that all the negative feelings in my head are gone. You seem to have a positive attitude. I am pretty sure you passed. Let us know.

I also took the NCLEX on October 25th and so nervous to know the results. I had 90+ questions including 1 med calc., 2 fill in the blanks, lots of prioritizing and assigning. There were too many medications to mention and lots that I don't believe even looked remotely familiar. Definitely shocked and relieved when the blue screen popped up. I was told that I would know my results after 9pm on October 26th, but still no results as yet. My mother made me watch The Secret, so trying to keep the faith, but it is so hard. :uhoh21:
GOOD LUCK,
