  1. THIS POEM BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES, BUT ITS TRUE.
  2. Thats is disgusting. I just started my Micro class, and there is nothing in our syllabus stating anything about collecting a stool sample. We definately will be preparing slide, but not that. Good luck. I hope you dont find anything in your sample, just kidding!!!
  3. HI I feel like we are in the same boat at PCCC. I currently submitted my application for the Jan. 2009 evening, and now waiting for time and a response. I took the NET in Aug. and scored at 91 percentile, GPA 3.5. Currently I am taking Micro and Sociology as the last 2 classes to fulfill the requirements. My sister is in the Nursing 2 section, and she said that is really competitive and requires alot of readings. She is working full time weekend, because she has a mortgage and a family to support. If accepted I too, will be working and going to school also. I did in LPN school and I will do it in RN school. Nurses before us has done it before, therefore it can be done. It won't be easy, but with hard work and determination it can be done. Good luck to you, hopefully we will be sitting side by side in the nursing program.
  4. Hey everyone, I took the boards yesterday, 10/25/07. My computer shut off at question 115. I don't know how I did. Some questions I felt really comfortable with. And there were other questions that killed me like those select all that apply. I had 4 math problems, which I thought were alot, but Im really good at math so those were like giveaway. I don't feel like I failed, but I feel like I don't know what to expect. I will receive the unofficial results tomorrow. Please Pray for me. But here is some advice I can give other candidates. Clear your mind from the world, pray, definately use the earplug that Pearsons Vue provides, and read the question word for word. Try not to read in between the lines. I think the best preparations are the Lippincott and Saunders Comprehensive Review are good resources. All the best to anyone taking the boards. The hardest the part is waiting for the results. I feel like I'm waiting for a pregnancy test result. LOL. Please, keep me in your prayers that I passed. Thanks. GOD BLESS!
  5. I am currently attending school in NJ. My school is requiring that all students to take and pass the HESE, before graduating and before taking the NCLEX-PN. Students have pass there graduation dates because they have fail up to four times!!!!!!! Once these students pass the HESE and go on to take the boards they tend to pass on the FIRST SHOT. I AM MORE SCARED TO TAKE THE HESE THAN THE BOARDS. Do all nursing school require to take this test? Does anyone have any suggestions for the HESE?????
