Okay, wow is it hard to sit here and know I have to wait until probably Wednesday (because of the loooooong holiday weekend! :uhoh3: ) to get my results! I took NCLEX this morning and the computer shut off at exactly 75 questions. It took me about 50-60 minutes to take the test...and I was sooooo nervous but I stayed as calm as I could manage. Anyhow....I thought it was THE HARDEST TEST I HAD EVER SEEN!!! Oh my god!!! It was so tough! So because I felt it was hard and that I got only 75, I am PRAYING TO GOD (I already did multiple times so far!) that I passed! The last person I saw before I left the testing center (next to the door on my way out) was a nun! :) I took that as a sign that God is watching out for me and that I passed! I must sound nuts-I agree! :) I'm just trying my best to stay positive and oh my god, the waiting is already torture!

I had a lot of different topics-med/surg, maternity, pharm, psych, leadership and management! I know I prepared very well for this and did tons of questions and also studied test-taking strategies, but nearly my ENTIRE TEST WAS ALL PRIORITIZATION !!! It was every where! Wow! To me they were tough questions cuz all the patients I was asked to choose from to see who I'd see first-they ALL SEEMED UNSTABLE & IN SERIOUS LIFE-THREATENING SITUATIONS!! Sorry for all the capitals-just trying to stress how hard I thought it was! Did I mention it was hard? So that is a good thing, right? That it was tough and I got 75!!! I don't want to even think about what else only getting 75 can mean! Let's not go there! :uhoh3:

I hear ya Christine! I took the test yesterday and got 75 as well. Those priority/choose all apply questions got me real good. The hardest part is waiting to see if you've passed/failed, but thank god that I'll be working all weekend and keeping busy. I'm sure that you've done very well Christine and I hope that we'll both pass this test!

Shyne-do you think it's ok that I only got one check all that apply question? I heard others say they got more. I hope that is not a bad thing! I hope we have both passed too!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter because everyones test will be different. My friend only got 2 choose that all apply questions and passed. Don't worry you've passed girl!!

Ok, I feel a bit better. But why do I feel so crappy? It's so weird to be a good student, and have studied SOOOO MUCH for this test, and to be totally prepared for what to expect, and to then feel so horrible after taking it. I'm going crazy already! I think I lost like 5 pounds the past few days! :uhoh21: I can't even distract myself from not thinking about it. Did you feel like your test was hard too? How long did it take you? I guess one hour is not rushing it, right? I'm just overanalyzing everything I did! :uhoh3:

It took me about 1 1/2 hours to take the test. My heart started to pound really hard when I got to question 75 :chuckle I felt that my test was really hard because I had tons of priority type questions and like you said all of the answer choices were very hard to pick from. I've got a ton of tv shows that I haven't watched yet, so I'll be watching those to kill some time!

Hi Christine,

I understand what you're feeling as I felt the same way. 75 questions with lots of prioritization, prioritization, pioritization, and herbals.... I found out I passed exactly 48 hours after my NCLEX had started on Pearson Vue for the best 7.95 I've ever payed... I found out I passed on Father's day at 9:01 AM. Keep your chin up and it sounds like we had very similar tests. I even noticed at question #46 the difficulty increased and then doubled in difficulty each 5 or 6 questions thereafter.... I did well in school, studied hard and consistently, and prepared to the best of my ability. I believe you passed. It was hard because you above the minimum level...

Later,

Lisa

PS check Peason Vue's results. 4th of July my have more of a celebration than you ever thought possible :-)
