Nursing Students NCLEX
Published Aug 11, 2007
Well, I took the NCLEX-RN today (8/10) and it shut off at 75. I feel pretty confident about it so I'm itching for my results to be available online. SOOO glad to have that thing over with!

Check out Suzanne's programme you can find out more about it on the main NCLEX forum it is a sticky, you need to complete the first part as instructed in the thread and then send her a PM
It varies, take a deep breath and try not to panic, hopefully you will get your results soon

Hey RN's
I'm totally freaking out! Just returned home from NCLEX. I was shut down at 76. I was guessing at soooooooooooo many of those questions. Had NO math questions, about 7 alternative "all that apply" questions and millions of "precautions" (airborne, contact, ...what to wear) questions that I thought I knew until I saw the answers.
76 just cannot be a good sign. what do i do with myself and where to go to get the quickest results????/
Do I drink heavily? retail therapy? start smoking after quitting over a year ago? eat?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! This is so awful
CONGRATS to the two of you!!! :)
Hey K,
how'd you do on yours??? and how come my quick results isn't showing up online? I mean the option for quick results?
It says I'm supposed to be able to view my status and quick results link. There isn't one!!
I'm totally freaking out!!

newname, did you get the results back? my understanding is that when you get a lot of choose all the apply you have a good chance of passing.

I felt like I had 5 select all questions, but I just remember I had 3 for sure, cant remember if I really had two more:idea:, I had lots of meds, med-surg, a few peds, two mental and one mat. BTW, I'm in california, no quick result. I've searched that people got results from 3 days to 4 weeks.
Anyway, I still do some review questions now.

I had a ton of meds also with 2 all that apply. What's up with all these meds. I know it's stressful waiting for the results, but keep the faith.

Newname,
I took NCLEX on Aug 8th and it shut off at 75. It was tough.... nothing like nursing school (I graduated from a BSN program)....or like many of the practice NCLEX questions I'd done in books. I had drug calculations, pharm questions, at least 8 of the check all that apply, lots of priority questions...(which pt to see first, what do you do first, or who do you assign to the LPN or Nurse asst). I'd answer questions after carefully and slowly thinking through the diseases of each pt and implications... and wondering what was really going on, etc. I often wondered if I had a chance of passing because I rarely felt certain about my choices (except the 2 drug calculations).
Two days later, I logged onto the test site and found out I had passed (unofficial results). Then.... over the weekend, my official license arrived in the mail!
If the computer shuts off at 75 and the questions were of higher difficulty, then that's a GOOD SIGN! I bet you passed.
