Hello fellow NCLEX takers. I sat for my boards yesterday at noon. The comp cut off at 85 !!! I was in such a daze the hole test. I seriously feel like I only knew 10 answers and the rest I guessed. I got 4-5 SATA, LOTS of rooming in, infecton control, pharm...but no math, and data collection quest. I left the testing center in SHOCK !!! I think im still in shock....I keep going over and over quest. in my head and its driving me crazy. Im from Cali and unfortunately I wont be able to receive my results until 30-45 days :0( via mail. My gutt is telling me that I failed cuz I noticed my quest. kept going back to rooming in and infect. control. Grrr...........................

I took the Nclex-pn last Wednesday, September 3. I had like 3-4 SATA everything was about Meds, 5-6 Pharmacology, 2 Calculations and a lot of prioritization and infection control. My test ended at 85 questions. After the test I was really positive that I failed! But I found out today that I passed! Good luck to everyone!
I hope the same is for me...........I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my results. Im fro CAli Grrrr.......... Im actually not that anxious cuz I would rather not have my results because that would mean its CONFIRMED that I failed. Im trying to stay positive but its hard. My friend just took the test and she went to 205 and she is freaking out. Its kinds weird we are both at the total opposite side of the spectrum. Please pray for the both of us :0)

Hello fellow nurses... I too took my NCLEX-PN today and my questions stopped at 85! I walked out of the testing center completely num. I didn't know what just happened or what the heck kind of test that was! I'm glad to know that everyone is having the feeling I am of failing the test. I'm 99.9% sure I failed, I felt like I guessed on the majority of the questions. And I had ALOT (seemed like every other question) was priority (what pt would you see first). I only had 3 drugs and know only 1 of them...never even heard of the other question! I came home and had a complete mental/emotional crying breakdown! It's 4 am here in Northern KY and I'm wide awake! I hope you find out your results sooner than later! And good luck!
Hi! I'm with you cali guys and gals...this wait is a killer. I took the test on the 9th of sept. Lots of prioritization and delegation. 5-6 sata, 2 math calculations, about 6 meds and lot of infection and isolation. Shut down at 85 q's. Felt numb when I got out of there. Felt like I was floating. Like I don't know what hit me. Felt like most of those questions were out of this world. Praying we all pass.
Hi again...
I was thinking that it would be good for us cali people if we could all post what day we took the test, how many questions, how you felt, and a lil about what was on the test like some of the above people have. Remember you can't post actual questions!!! I took my test in oakland ca on august 29th 2008. I had 85 qeustions total; about 10 sata, 2 with pt chart for exhibit, many many infection control and isolation, only one math question and one delegation question. I too left the testing center totally numb and wondering what on earth had just happened. The test was sooo weird that it could have easily been one of those dreams that you have before nclex when you are nervous.
Oh ya and also try to post when you get your results and if you passed (if you are comfortable). I think it's very supportive for all of us to know that we are not alone.
Also one more very important thing...... IF YOU HAPPEN TO CALL THE BOARD PLEASE PLEASE POST WHAT THEY TELL YOU, SO THAT WE CAN ALL CHECK HERE BEFORE CALLING!!!! If we all call then the people working there processing our results have to spend more and more time talking to us on the phone saying the same thing over and over and that takes time away from them working on the paperwork!!!!
One more thing.... if anyone understands the whole nclex grading and level thing and can explain it simply, I would love to hear it. I read the thing that they have about it on the ncsbn site and I was totally confused. I have heard sooo many people say soo many things about how the test works..... it's just nuts.
Good luck to those of you who are waiting and I can't wait to hear that you all passed!!!
Congrats to all of you who have already passed and thank you to everyone for sharing your experiences.

There is no way to tell, all you can do is wait for results, hang in there and good luck
