Ok well first let me say I am GLAD it is over with......I graduated nursing school Dec/2010 and took boards yesterday....I can say that I had NOOOO CLUE if I passed or not but I was leaning on I DIDN'T pass and GOD performed a miracle and granted me my License. Well as SOON as I got out of the testing center I called my best friend who passed the test last week to go and do the PVT so she did it and it gave me the "GOOD" pop up :eek: :eek: WHAT!! Are you serious? I was in complete disbelief!! Well so when I got home until now I have been going to the Pearson Vue website making sure the "Pop up" is still there and it is. Well I have decided that just a few mins ago was the last time I was going to go and check because I need to put my TRUST in God that he did take my test and I have to BELIEVE that I have PASSED....so I am not going back to that site until tomorrow when I get my "OFFICIAL" results...........BUT IN THE NAME OF JESUS I HAVE PASSED MY TEST
Ok so you read my title and I put that the PVT doesn't work for EVERYONE....well another friend of mines took it yesterday got a different "POP UP" hers said "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." which was different from what mine said...mine said something in the nature of "I have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance...yada yada yada" Well she called the board today and the person checked her results and he told her that she FAILED I called the board and got a lady and she wouldn't tell me NOTHING (my friend had got a man that told her, wish he would of answered the phone instead of that darn lady!) so I guess I just have to be patient and find out tomorrow through the quick results.
So in conclusion if you get the "POP UP" doesn't always mean you PASSED or at least if you get the "Test results on HOLD" doesn't mean you passed...just possibly they are reviewing your results at random.
BTW I got 85 questions (the minimal for LPN and she got 205 the max)

Once you take the test, log-in to pearson vue's website & try to register again for the test. if it shows a pop-up that says "our records indicate that you have recently registered for this exam. another registration cannot be created at this time" or something like that, it means you've passed lol. But if it takes you to the credit card page, it means you failed
Ok so i took my nclex pn yetserday and i was wondering if the pop up for pvt is accurate in california because california takes soooo long for the results to get back to you. Does anyone know about california and the pvt and if it works?
The message that your friend got is a common one, I got it for the first few hours after I took mine...it just means that your results aren't in yet. The trick works, you just have to know which one is which.
I took mine yesterday too, tried the trick several times, got the good popped up, I guess tomorrow I'll know the result, I got the minimum questions.
I am new to this sight, and was curious about the trick. I took my boards today at 8am, go 85 questions, most of which were multiple multiples (which sucked!!!) 2 order questions which I found to be the most easy... all of the other questions seemed to just suck in general... Any who I did the PVT and got the "the candidate already has a registration, please contact your board of nursing." I guess we'll see in two days whether or not it really worked for me!! But just thought that I would share my story!

Know that you might get the good pop up if this is your 3rd plus test and your BoN requires you to take a review course before you can resit the NCLEX, thus you would not go to the credit card page if you failed the third time but would get the notice to contact your BoN...
Well, for me it says Delivery Successful on the Pearson website but I have the neutral pop-up stating my results are on hold. The majority of people I've seen on here have gotten the good pop-up within hours of the exam. Is there something that could have gone wrong?
