  1. @MissRN2013 I called them today, they are eliminating all the ppl who do not meet the basic requirements, and the reviewing process starts on the 28th of Jan. Two reasons I was rejected: 1) International student, they don't sponsor work permit; 2) I'm a LPN, I can't practice with my licence, has to be a student without a licence, and pratice under their preceptor's licence.
  2. I submitted the application on the last day, the 15th, I called her on the 14th and asked her some last min questions. She said the application would be closed on the 15th, midnight. Anyway, I spent quite some time on the essays, kinda depressing to find out just a day later that I didn't get in. Good luck to other applicants!
  3. It started already I think. I got their rejection email today."Although we were impressed with your background and experience, we have decided to pursue other candidates who more closely fit the needs of the department at this time."
  4. She also said absolutely no need for cover letter
  5. Called LaTasha, she said they are expecting 700 apps this year
  6. Same situation here, I heard externships and internships are hard to get in, if there is no luck, I will try shadowing.
  7. Same here, desperately looking for one next summer, I'm in my junior year, so Duke does not take any students out of state?? then i won't bother to apply... Did you find one by the way?
  8. Same situation here, end goal is CRNA, does it matter where do I get my RN??
  9. I took mine yesterday too, tried the trick several times, got the good popped up, I guess tomorrow I'll know the result, I got the minimum questions.
