I took boards today, the computer shut off at 85 and I honestly have no idea if I passed or failed. I have heard that that is a good sign, but I have no idea. Has anyone gotten that and failed? Them personally not someone they know....I feel sick like I am gonna barf, and I am in VA and it is not a quick result state!!! :uhoh21:

Hi LPNSpitz2B,
I took the test in CA at Feb 28, still waiting the result...mine, stopped at 75 and my heart stopped there as well... Sucks, both Ca and Va don't provide quick results! Must be kind of plots to keep their employees busy! Anyway, a lot of my friends took the test which stopped at 80 something, usually passed! I have the same feeling like you, feel ambiguous after the test! Hope you and me luck!

Good luck to you. The number of questions is not an indication of whether you passed or failed. It's just the number of questions.

I know exactly how you feel! I took my test today and it shut off around 81 or so questions. I just wanted to scream. It was a test that I left feeling like HUH? what? AHHHHHHHHHH!
Anyway we are in this wait together!

Hi RN29,
In my test, I am sure the very first question and the very last question are correctly answered. However, is it a good sign? In between, most of them are priority questions; does it mean I make a lot of mistakes in answering priority questions so that the evil machine keeps asking me such question type? Do you hear of anyone who has similar situation like me, find the first and the last questions easy and sure to have them nailed will have passed the test? Is it a plot or indication that they keep asking you difficult questions in between and give you one easy question at the end to hint you passing the test?! Anyone has any idea on it, please let me know! Care to share your thoughts?
Just checked the board of nursing website for a license lookup, and guess what? MINE WAS THERE!! I am so excited! And glad that all the worry is over :chuckle :smiley_aa  :yelclap:
Dear LPN,
Though I am very much envy that you can get your result so soon, still I have to say CONGRATS! :Melody: :Melody: :Melody: :balloons: Where did you take your test?

took my test in Vienna, Virginia...but I have heard that most states immediately post licenses...maybe you could check their website and do a license lookup....wishing you luck, know that the wait is torture!
LPN, Lucky you! I am in CA...(like Cancer) which is the slowest state to keep the students desparately waiting!
