To Do: Over Summer Vacation

Published

What do yall have to do over summer vacation? Mine is only a week, so my list is short (sort of).

  • Deep clean everything. (Vacuming, dusting, all that stuff that never gets done).
  • Keep up excercise program (getting harder as the weeks progress).
  • Sign up for scholarship test.
  • Make a nursing school binder (I'm a pre-nursing student working of my pre-reqs).
  • Figure out if I want to sign up for the CNA course, and when. (how?)
  • Email leader of Christian Student Fellowship. This is a letter of my testimony as a leader and it is sent to sponcers (etc).
  • Scholarship binder (dates, things, etc).
  • Read some books for fun! :)

Whats your plan??

So funny story about my flight down to Orlando yesterday. Just minding my own business reading when my girlfriend taps me on the shoulder saying they just made an announcement over the speakers asking for any doctors or nurses to go to the back of the plane they needed assistance. Turns out someone had collapsed, lost consciousness and was vomiting profusely and they needed help. Just so turns out there was a cardiac physician sitting in front of me and I went back too just to see if they needed help. Ended up doing vitals and all sorts of other things just helping the doc out. Was really neat to be doing a clinical at 35000 feet! Never thought that would ever happen in my lifetime but I guess you never know when people will need help.

Awesome!

I bet, stuff like that is exciting to me. (well not that someone is injured or hurt) but I am sure you get what I mean. It would have been cool if they gave you a free drink or something though!
