Did anyone happen to catch The Learning Channel's documentary about the Duggar family of Arkansas? It ended with Ms. Duggar birthing their 15th
baby

I watched that too last night....wasn't sure to be amazed or horrified!!

Yes! It was facinating.... yet, depressing... how is it that their household is run a million times more organized than my family with only 3 kids?!? Their kids were so well behaved! At least, what we saw on camera. God luv 'em!

mom2three, if they weren't organized, I think they'd have been on the news for other reasons after the parents totally lost their sanity. :)

I saw that a couple of months ago. :uhoh3: I can't imagine. But if you think about it, the older kids are taking care of the younger ones so mom doesn't really have it all that hard.

I saw part of it. I would like to see it in its entirity though. Several questions come to mind but maybe they would be answered if i saw the complete program. I have to wonder where the financial aspect of this family lands. I dont know about anyone else but with a family of 5 (me and DH) included times are a bit rough.

Hey, to each their own. As long as those kids are well cared-for, educated, fed, and I am not paying to raise them, it's their business. More power to em.

It's the people that have one kid after another, and can't afford even one that tick me off.

:) Yes I saw that show and loved it. I felt bad that I'm not that organized with 2 kids. I would love to have a house full of kids. That was an awesome family, no one looked neglected or deprived. Those kids seemed awesome.

I bet they'll show it again since I saw this show several weeks ago. I was a little put off until I found out they had planned their family from start (even though they started young) and they didn't expand their family until they knew they would be able to handle it financially. Being the step-mom to teenagers I admire their ability to get the older kids to help out.
