Hey my AN family!!!!
Have y'all ever just been SO sick of studying?!? I mean it's super annoying right now! ? I take my NCLEX-RN next week and I've been studying tough for about 3 weeks!!!
What was your MAIN FOCUS the last week leading up to the test?!? Just curious.
Oh my goodness I feel your pain..I don't take my test until the middle of next month ..I have about 40 days left to study.but I am so sick of studying for the nclex. For me this is the retake ..so I need to get this right. I had a lot near passing on my results only one below passing level... When I was taking my test I was so tried I had the early 8a test. Mostly just tried of studying for over test and wanted the test over...after the 3 hr of the of the test I went blink.. Good luck

You will get it!!! Rest your brain for a few days and get back into it at a pace that's good for you! I can't study for hours and hours a day because I can't retain much! Lol!
Just review the basics. Learn drug classes, know their most common, potentially life threatening ones, and unique side effects. Review labs, and brush up on anything you are weak in or have not looked at in a while (for me it was acid base balances and peds). Also look at EKGs, nothing complex. Know that you do not have to be an expert in any of these, just be sure you know the basics, the basics can take you a long way in figuring out a question even if you have no idea what the disease/topic is. Do not try to learn anything new, you will only over whelm yourself, again basics are key! And finally relax on your nclex eve, get out of town and do not bring any materials with you! Get to bed early and try to get some sleep (I know easier said than done). Good Luck!
The last few days leading up to my exam date I casually reviewed information that I thought I needed reinforcement in. The day before that test I put my books away and spent the day with my best friend and her family. Her little ones were a nice distraction. I had a good meal, a relaxing evening, and went to bed at a reasonable time. Looking back on it I would have done the same thing to prepare for the NCLEX. Good luck!
