Hey my AN family!!!!
Have y'all ever just been SO sick of studying?!? I mean it's super annoying right now! ? I take my NCLEX-RN next week and I've been studying tough for about 3 weeks!!!
What was your MAIN FOCUS the last week leading up to the test?!? Just curious.
Congrats Nurse2beMN. I know you've not received your official result yet, thought kudos for taking NCLEX today. I'm sure you're at least relieved to have taken the test. My test is 8/7. Could you give us general tips/ideas of what your take on NCLEX was? Did you find it harder/easier than you expected? I saw that you prepped with La Charity - what other resources did you use and what helped the most? Did you find content and/or q's helped most? What areas/diseases/procedures/concepts are "key" and returning themes you saw from today?
I took HURST, have Kaplan online (including qtrainers and qbank), LaCharity and Saunders (6th edition). I also have NCSBN. I'm using HURST as my main content, with a little of Kaplan and NCSBN integrated in. Kaplan for q's and NCSBN. HURST q's also - though they seem a little easier than Kaplan/NCSBN.
I hope you find out soon about your result - keep us posted. Ty for your take on NCLEX and any advice/input.
Honey...just relax..I know it's hard. But you took your test today...they will not give you results until a few days. Sometime you can look it up before you get results...sometime it is there is a few hours on the BON. In Ohio sometime it is there before the end of day or right after. Now you can breath a little easy tonight. Congrats to you for finishing your test ...

That's encouraging to hear @Shandra. I'm a crazy person and call Pearson Vue to inquire about my 'on hold' but they said they can't give me any information until the 48 hours.... blahhh
