I took the NCLEX RN on Monday - 75 questions, mostly SATA...and Passed! So I am a proponent that many SATA's are good thing.

Grouchy I stopped counting but I had about 23-26 SATAs..I just kept a lil grin on my face and shook my head everytime they popped up cuz I knew there was NO way I'd get them all right..did my best tho..they were really tricky for the most part. SATAs play with your head, cuz if you only think one of them applies you think to yourself " Well, certainly it just can't be ONE" and then you feel obligated to include another one, then you have to be nit picky with the way the options are worded and if one word is off or vague you have to consider that and look into it or you may read too much into the question.. ARGH.... and get this, I got ZERO MATH! Not sure what to think of that... NO MATH, NO HOTSPOT, NO ORDERED RESPONSE, just a battalion of SATAs and multiple choice questions... after 74 I told myself this better be the last darn question, I'm tired of these treacherous SATAs....

I'm kinda in the same boat. I took mine this past Monday, and I had a ton of SATA. I lost count somewhere around 15 or so. At one point I had 6 in a row, and I was thinking to myself, what am I doing wrong. I also had plenty of meds, maybe about 3-4 that I've never heard of, and one drug calc. No OB, some peds, and not too many prioritizing or infection control. I don't know what to think, I feel like I failed.

I took my boards Monday with 75 questions and about 20-25 SATA and found out today that I passed!!! It really does play with your head but after reading other people's posts I do think it's a good thing to see a bunch of them. I was sooooo nervous too after finishing and I feel your pain. Good luck!!
