I agree, I am just getting started myself and this website has already been SO helpful to me! It has answered all of my questions so far and I feel like it has helped me get better prepared for what lies ahead.
I am so excited to get started on my pre-reqs this summer. I don't think I have ever been this excited to be going to school. LOL!!
AMEN! I got my acceptance letter, and now after the 100 steps that come after it...i'm about to go to advising where we find out our schedules and order uniforms etc.!!! i'm so excited!! I keep thinking something's gonna go wrong...speaking of immunizations i haven't even gotten my records yet crap!!!!
Well, thanks to this site, I found out I do not have to re-take the CNA (took it in 1992 and worked until 1999). That saved me $900!!!!! Plus, I can start the pre-reqs earlier for the BSN program I'm applying to. You have to have 30 credit hours (off their list of classes) done before applying. If I wouldn't have found out about being able to re-certify, I would have to wait another 9 months to apply to the BSN program! I'm extremely excited!

I am almost in tears in finding a forum where people are experiencing exactly what i am in the process of applying to nursing school. It is so not easy to get in- prereqs, immunizations, hesi test, long waiting times. Each stumbling block i run into makes me work harder for acheiving that Rn degree i am coveting. CAN I GET AN AMEN!
