I am almost in tears in finding a forum where people are experiencing exactly what i am in the process of applying to nursing school. It is so not easy to get in- prereqs, immunizations, hesi test, long waiting times. Each stumbling block i run into makes me work harder for acheiving that Rn degree i am coveting. CAN I GET AN AMEN!

AMEN! I feel like I have a new question every day, and I haven't even started classes yet! (Getting started on prereqs in a couple weeks in a summer session). The student forum is helpful, the News postings are educational, and the other stories are so intriguing!

I agree, I am just getting started myself and this website has already been SO helpful to me! It has answered all of my questions so far and I feel like it has helped me get better prepared for what lies ahead.
I am so excited to get started on my pre-reqs this summer. I don't think I have ever been this excited to be going to school. LOL!!
You wanna hear something funny? I love this site so much that I want to tell everyone about it. I wish All Nurses would advertise their site at my school because I wish MORE people from my school were on here that I could talk to about our program, admissions, etc.

Well, thanks to this site, I found out I do not have to re-take the CNA (took it in 1992 and worked until 1999). That saved me $900!!!!! Plus, I can start the pre-reqs earlier for the BSN program I'm applying to. You have to have 30 credit hours (off their list of classes) done before applying. If I wouldn't have found out about being able to re-certify, I would have to wait another 9 months to apply to the BSN program! I'm extremely excited!
