Think we'll get letters over spring break?

Published

I can't decide if I should cease stalking the mailman this week.:lol2:

I think I am going to start stalking the mailman this week;) I am going bananas waiting for an acceptance letter.

Ok, I will admit, I am starting to stress now.

I will congratulate you when you get accepted!!!

I should have had my letter last week, so if the mailman values his life, he best only stop at my house if he has that letter in hand!!!

All joking aside, classes are out this week, but my school's staff still has to come to work, so hopefully YES!

I know how you guys and gals feel. Does your school start in the fall? Both of the ones I applied for started at the end of August. I got my letter from the ASN program at the JC that I was already attending some time in March last year with a big fat "Sorry you are 72 on the waiting list" (they do not go by merit but lotto) and then I got a letter from the University that had the BSN program saying "Congratulations!" on April 14th (I know because I still have it taped to the wall next to my computer)

I say, enjoy your spring break. I have already written a presentation on caring for the diabetic client, complete with a colorful poster board since the hospital does not have power point; written a teaching learning paper on a client that I took care of in short stay that was getting a colonoscopy. I still have 21 chapters to read so I am caught up and a little ahead (we get about five chapter to read for each time we meet in class which is twice a week) because I did not get reading done last week and a half because I was studying for a mid-term that was half my grade; and two evolve modules, which stink!

If you guys get in, your lives will be taken from you too (I am not complaining I know it is worth it) so leave the mail man alone and have a picnic, sit on your butt and watch t.v., read a good book, go to a movie with a friend.

OMG! Update....just got official word from the school that letters went out today! So, that answers the original question about getting letters over spring break (at least for my school)

AHHHHHH!! Medhead!!! Good Luck! You should have that tomorrow!

What time does your mailman come?

:rotfl: I know how you feel. I saw him walk past. Still no letter.

We start in June. Good luck everyone.

I'll be in this situation next semester. The waiting must be so hard. Good luck to all and hang in there! I'm sure we will see a celebration thread soon.
