Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.
Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle
When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)
Please don't expect me to remember the questions they will test on when I took this class FOUR MONTHS ago ! My OB was in February you are in OB now so there is no way I can tell you what to study for this exam, I have my own final coming up tomorrow. Just read and study like every one else is.
Oh here is one that I wanted to scream Friday...Do you REALLY need to hole punch every paper you have received the last 2 weeks in the middle of lecture??? THEN on top of that rearrange your whole binder. Click..snap...click...snap...click...snap...click...snap...(for 20 minutes straight!!)
To all my friends that just graduated without me...I will really miss you next year and I am glad to have gotten to be friends with you. Good luck with your NCLEX test and your new jobs and I hope I meet more fun supportive people like you in school this Fall as I finally get to finish this journey also! Love you guys!
This was a BIG one for me this past semester...."IF YOU FAILED THIS CLASS ONCE ALREADY...SIT DOWN...SHUT UP!...AND MAYBE YOU MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE OF PASSING THIS TIME!!!!" Also, just because you make good grades doesn't make you a good nurse...I've seen you in clinicals...how horrible your bedside manner is...how you almost killed that patient without checking BP and then administering 4 antihypertensives...I don't know how you flew under the radar with our instructor...but you won't in the real world.

SOOOO Rude!
to instructor: HelLOO?!! Don't you hear that? Tell her to knock it off!!! lol
Ooooo I thought of some moreYou kept telling everyone you were schizophrenic..... What made you think you could become a nurse? We were all so happy when you dropped out.
To the crazy one who graduated with us.... same question
What impairs someone from becoming a nurse simply because they have mental health issues? Obviously if they are a threat to themselves or others in a legit way, shape of form may pose a danger in the healhcare setting, but as a nurse you should now that mental health problems do not automatically equate with bad person/incapable person/bad nurse. That is no less than discrimination.

To all the friends I've made so far: I would be lost without the support we give each other, I love you all.
