Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.
Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle
When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)
I just finished my OB rotation...........please people........for the love of god i do not need to know every detail of your pregnancy and labor experience!! its not helping me pass my OB exam, so shut your pie hole!
You dress like a hooker. I do not understand who taught you that gold stilettos were an OK thing to wear to class.
You NEED to wear clothes that fit you..coming to class with your gut and love handles hanging out is NASTY.
Hey you smokers...YOU STINK!! I KNOW you are addicted and it keeps you awake but you smell AWFUL and I hate it! I think I will start wearing EXTRA perfume and hopefully it will distract me from your nasty cloud.
Just because there is a guy in our class that does not mean he is interested in YOU. I know some of you random whores do not feel complete unless a guy is paying attention to you but seriously stop it.
Making fun of said boy JUST because he is a boy is lame..maybe you are flirting...either way it's just lame and your husband would think so too.
You over there the couple that is married but not to each other...you have SPOUSES at home...cheating with your lab partner is tacky and sad. Can't wait till you all meet at graduation....should be a Jerry Springer episode.
Hey girl in the front who asks the dumbest questions of all time...if you weren't sitting in the front you would SEE that EVERY time you open your mouth we all look at each other and go "oh no not another one"

when we are going through the patient's chart, please don't stop me every two seconds to ask me what this and that means. You should know this by now. It will be on the next exam.
1. quit hogging the clinical instructor. My patient needs meds, and just because you don't know how to dial up an insulin pen (which you should have done roughly 1000 times since first semester) does not mean you need to spend 5 hours with the CI to figure it out.
2. If you are going to come into class late (with your Starbucks coffee?) please sit in the back and be quiet about it. I really don't appreciate your backpack wheels crushing my feet or having hot coffee spilled on my neck as you try to squeeze your butt into the corner to be near your pals.
Don't lie to me about your grade. The instructor posts the grades. I know there was only one 90 and I got it. So when you tell me you did, I know you are lying. Simple deduction, really...
1. Im am paying alot of money to go to this school, and yes, it is a gift to even make it into nursing school, so if you want to *#$% around, that is your choice but please dont be jealous and resent me for knowing the right answers/doing well in school and clinical when you could study more if you wanted to as well. I dont mess with your education so dont mess with mine.
2. No, I do not want to go home early, go to lunch for an hour or get an extra break in during clinical, I want to learn as much as i can so when i graduate, i dont kill someone!
Stop belittleing me in front of the professors. i would Never do that to you. dont you know that image is important at clinical becasue if you come off as incompetant then they wont let you do anything and it can affect your grade and even if you pass or fail? jerk.
