Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

or you could just shorten it, because we all know short attention spans require short titles: sucking young.

Ruby, I think you need a PT/OT consult...if just Tylenol will get the job done, you're clearly not able to bang your head for as hard or as long as those posts deserve.

Um, I've been a CNA for two weeks and I already know how to do my nurse's job. Why doesn't my nurse listen to me? Should I contact the Board?

I'm super nurse! I'm the only nurse on my floor who knows what she is talking about. Why doesn't everyone else see my brillance? My patients just LOVE me :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe because I am such a compassionate and knowledgeable person. Nevermind that I treat other nurses like **** behind their back. Let my compassion and brillance reign.

I can walk on water, but I choose to use a boat because I don't want to make others feel inferior. I'm just like that. But, it's so hard when everyone says "you are so smart why aren't you a LPN, RN, MD or manager." I just sometimes hope they would have to have a nurse who does not walk on water. Not really, I could never wish that on someone. LOL

O.K. not so funny, but so many posts are so good, I want the thread to stay alive. three hours without a post is too long!

I had a patient in triage the other day who said he had always wanted to be an RN. He said "I'm not particularly smart but I have read a lot of Stephen King novels and am good with my hands". I did not really want to know where he was headed with that comment! So maybe nursing and serial killers have a lot in common ?????

I'm just SOOOOO good, that I don't even have to take classes. I COULD go straight to the NCLEX if I wanted too. I'm just doing this for form, because I am THAT good.

Don't link to specific posts please! That's what gets our threads like this shut down. That's considered making fun of the specific poster instead of venting and having fun in general. :)
