The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
If you have any questions about the program or the application process, the HRSA offers resources and support to help guide you through the process. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive financial assistance while pursuing your dream of a career in healthcare and serving those in need.

Hey did anybody's school actually get the form that was sent to us by accident? I forwarded the email to my administrator but she never received anything from them. Wondering how long it is taking them to compile the right email address list.
My school was called and the information was faxed on Friday.

My school sent them the form about 2 hours ago and they cc me.
lol...maybe this will make us all feel better...I found this on the frequently asked questions page of the HRSA scholarship.30. Can I make changes to my banking information after it has been submitted? No, only the HRSA staff can enter any relevant changes to the online banking information once it has been submitted and a "Receipt of Submission" is received by the applicant. However, the applicant can request a change to their banking information by completing the Banking Update Form, and mailing the completed form to:

Please note: Only those applicants being awarded NSP scholarships will be requested to submit banking information.

OMG! I hope this note IS RIGHT!
Hmmm....do you guys think I should contact my school about that form we technically aren't supposed to know about? My university doesn't have the best track record with documents.....! (They messed up my initial verification form!)
I think you should. I also have problems with my school getting forms in on time.

I would suggest you get in touch with your school. I forwarded this to my school, and I'm glad I did. They had not seen this email. Hopefully, it will be completed on time. I am not sure this VJ guy sent the correct email after sending the INCORRECT email...
sooo I accidently emailed that j.v. guy that sent out the form that was suppose to go to our school. Seriously it was by accident. I was trying to forward his email to my financial aid counselor and accidently hit reply instead. So he emailed me back and told me my school has not sent in the form and ask for my financial aid counselor's name and contact info. He said that the form does not need to be sent in by the 28th that "we can give them a couple more days" QUOTE and that I didn't have to worry! woooow...So I everyone who got that email definitely get in touch with your schools financial aid dept and make sure they send that in!
Either you make sure things are done, or just wait for people to do it for you.......ummmmmmm.....I go with the first one.
Er...well....I wouldn't say that I am waiting for people to do stuff for me if I don't contact them (insinuating perceived helplessness??). As someone pointed out earlier, we aren't supposed to know about this step. If Sir VJ hadn't made the mistake of forwarding the email to the students, nobody would be contacting their schools to make sure they respond to the request for information...
