relax! take a b-i-g d-e-e-p breath! let it out s-l-o-w-l-y... do that about three times.
can you drink hot sweetened herbal tea? i love the mint kinds. avoid the caffeine that
regular coffee and teas have. even cocoa has caffeine which can keep you revved up.
if you tend to get the runs when you get anxious or hyper, take something with you like
pepto pills or a couple of imodium. sometimes, just knowing i have it with me means i
won't need it.
what about using a heating pad or a hot rice or bean bag on your stomach for cramps or
upsets? you'll be fine! be ****** glad your nclex is "only" computer questions!
100 years ago when i took my state boards (as they were called waaaaay back then) they
took two days to take. you waited anywhere from 6-10 weeks to hear whether or not you
passed. i took them in an old classroom with no a/c on a summer day when it was in
the 90's. there were sweat marks on everyone's papers! you've heard of blood sweat and
tears? sweat marks, blood from a paper cut, and tears between the exams!!
you'll be fine! check back in and everyone tell us about it!

I know what you mean. I am normally a calm test taker, but when I sat to take the NCLEX-RN today, I was nervous for the first time. It took me about 3 hours 45 min to complete around 170 questions and then it cut me off. I don't know if I passed yet, but I went to www.pearsonvue.com/nclex and attempted to reregister and it wouldn't let me. I've been told that this means that I passed. Good luck on your exam!

OP, I know how you feel! I was a nervous wreck the WHOLE WEEK lol. My test was on a Friday (Friday the 13th I might add!). Just take a deep breath & remember you have accomplished something that so many people don't--finishing nursing school! Good luck on the NCLEX, I'm sure you'll do fine!!

I know how you feel. I had one of the most emotionally stressfull weeks of my life this past week (with my little brother killing himself r/t schizophrenia). It was so hard to concentrate to study/review etc. I was so out of it I forgot to print off my ATT letter, thankfully another office was open and a sweet lady allowed me to use her computer to print it out so I got to sit on time (phew). So I was at question 30 and realized that I had not gotten any SATA questions at all yet. I freaked out for a minute or so wondering if I was just bombing the exam. All in all I had a total of just 6-8 SATA. I just kept going one question at a time and when I hit "next" on #75 it shut off. The PVT trick says I passed. So best of luck. Focus, relax and you can do this!
GL and let us know.
