Just wanted to let you all know especially suzanne that a few changes has occured in my life and have now decided after 2 and a half years not to go and live in the US. It has been a hard decision to make but I know it is the right one.
So wanted to thank everyone especially Suzanne for the help and advice I have recieved on here :)
Thanks again
Anna, was so surprised to see you've changed your mind. Am certain it had to be a very difficult decision, perhaps especially because it affects your marriage. After all this time, maybe he's got cold feet?
In any case, 'not now' doesn't necessarily mean 'never'. And even if it does, I believe things happen for the best. Maybe you are just meant to stay in the U.K.
Hope you are both satisfied with your decision, and at least now you'll be able to feel 'settled' and not like you've always got one foot out the door.
If you do come for a visit, hope you can make it up to Oregon. That is if the rain doesn't wash it away, as it appears its threatening to do. :icon_hug: :kiss
suzanne if I come over to see Kay will definately come over to see youthe advice you give has been great
Weetzie, There are many places in the US would love to visit so if we do come over in that direction I will definately get in touch and arrange to meet :)
I wish you all the best!:balloons:
Thank you and I wish you all the best on your journey
im very sorry to hear that you have decided to no longer continue, however i do understand. it is a very long, drawn out process which can be very wearing, to go through all that and one of you not to be sure is no good, its not like moving to a different town, its embracing a whole new culture and moving to another part of the world 3000 miles away.
i think its very brave that you have made this descision
good luck with all that you choose to do in the future
claire :)
Anna,Belinda-wales and I are really shocked can not belive it may be the wait has been too long to much time to think, your change of mind has rocked us a little but we are still on the road to usa I hope you are ok and manage to settle well. Good luck.
I didn't plan on this info shocking anyone but hubby worried about several factors and I have had to take this into account. I know I didn't have these worries with me already having a job. I think if things hadn't taken so long what with the first hospital backing out and Danny's job picking up and him getting promotion we would still be on the road to Phoenix.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and advice and will still keep popping on here :)
I hope your journey goes better than mine as we started this rollercoaster 3 yrs ago and even I was getting disponant on CA not moving with nurses for over 2 months
Claire good luck on your journey
