  1. Suzanne, they approved me!!!!!! I'm going HOOOOME for SIX weeks!!! :balloons:
  2. thank you very much!
  3. To get the ball rolling we need to know where you stand first. Do you have your RN license? Where do you want to go? Have you completed visa screen?..........
  4. You don't have to worry about all these things. Let them do their job. Just make sure you do your part.
  5. If i tell them that i have an emergency situation and have to leave without pay for six weeks... they must let me go, right? Or can they just say-no? What are the policies on emergensy leave? I don't know my rights and don't want to get fooled by them or fired. They lied to me alreday in the past.
  6. Before I talk to my manager at work, I just want to talk to you guys and see if i'm doing everything right. As most of you know, I have been working in my hospital only for a few months. Therefore, not eligible for FMLA or PTO yet. But..... i really have to go home this summer. Also i don't want to lose this job. What should I do? How do i need to ask and what do i say to the manager, so they let me go for at least six weeks? Please, give me some advice, i really need it.
  7. It is true and it takes about six months to a year, depending on your service center and other things.
  8. You can apply for work visa, but it's not recommended.
  9. i just received my plastic card!!!!!!!!!!!!:balloons: thank you everyone for your support and congratulations. special thank you to suzanne. you helped me a lot, and i want you to know that i appreciate it so much.
  10. Because you must have RN license, not LPN.
  11. The answer to your question is no. You can't get a GC if you're an LPN.
  12. congratulations!!!!!!!!! :yelclap:
  13. Thank you very much everyone!!!:thankya: :biere: :biere:
