6th taking boards I feel really stupid

hi guys,

I will be taking boards for the 6th time. I graduated 12/06, got demoted from GN to CNA. how demoralizing and stupid I felt. I feel the RN and CNA are talking behind my back. This is the only job I have left to support myself until I pass boards. I wish this time will be my last time so I CAN have the last laugh to them. I really really feel stupid and dumb that I can not pass this stupid test. I asked myself why cant I passed boards?? I am that really stupid or what. I am doing suzanne;s plan right now and will be testing end of march. I hoped this time I can posted that I passed. I have been studying since jan. would like some encouragment. I am feeling really nervous and scared now as my exam is approaching really soon and I dont what to see another all near passing status. I felt crushed the last time I took in 11/07 when I got 218 and ran out of time.

please give me some encouragement or insight to prep for the boards.

Good Luck I hope you pass. I've been a nurse for almost 20 years and in that time I've seen nurses who passed boards on their first try and were horrible horrible nurses and I've seen many nurses who failed multiple times and when they finally did pass they were outstanding nurses. So don't let it get you down if you are not a good test taker, in the end it's what kind of nurse you are!!!!! So have faith, you'll make it!!!!!

hey, take a deep breath and try to calm yourself...you can do it!! the best thing you've done so far is that your not giving up and i admire you for that...just remember that no matter how many times you take it would not matter just aim for the "pass" when you sit there in front of the computer try to understand the qhat the question is asking...if you're doing suzanne's plan that a good step..goodluck!:dncgcpd:

hi i got hired too as GN and now working as a CNA cause i failed my board exams nclex-rn twice ....i knew all my coworkers think im so stupid but you know what even i almost have zero confidince this time i do believe we gonna all pass this test sooner....as theres a saying said try and try until you succeed...i will include you in my prayers ...

You are not stupid. You made it through nursing school. The flaw lies somewhere between School and NCLEX. There is a gap.

A good number of those that take NCLEX pass on the first try. For those who do not, every retake gets harder because you're further away from that two year or more wealth of knowledge you got from school.

You're not stupid. Just a part of a certain percentage of people including myself who have a hard time with NCLEX.

All we can do is keep trying.
