Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

First of all I would like to thank the Lord for the big big help. I am a BSN-RN now. Let me tell you something I took the nclex-rn 10x and all of them are 75 questions only and on the 10th time I finally made it at 75 question. It's all prayers and hard work.

If you do everything and lift up everything in His name he will be there to help you. remember i took it 10x. He did not give up on me. Thank God!

Congratulations! your determination is inspiring :)

Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!!

I admire your mental toughness. Congrats, you are truly an inspiration for all. I have only taken the Nclex twice and failed and thought so many times of giving up..It is because of my friends and family why I have not given up, they keep cheering me on. Kudos to you my friend. Persistance and your faith God payed off.

Good Luck on you new career...

:ancong!: You are an inspiration to everyone. Keep us updated on your first job as an RN. And don't forget to notify your favorite instructor at your nursing school!:p

Hello! First off I want to say congratulations! That is such great news and I am so happy for you! I truly admire your strength, drive and determination! I just took the NCLEX today and also stopped at 75 questions. I am sooo worried. My heart will not stop pounding . . STILL! I just feel like the whole "having higher level questions is a good sign" theory, really threw me off the whole time throughout the test. I kept asking myself is this a higher level question? I got a handful or more of SATA q's, few pharm, priority, delegation, analyzing labs and deciding which is most concerning, a couple of s/s of diseases, two weird which food is high in iron/folic acid (to me this is lower level), one drug calculation problem and a couple infection control. My last two question was an arrange the correct order question and a question on drug interactions with beta blockers. I just feel like towards the end I should have had harder higher level questions. When it got to 75, and the computer started thinking/ analyzing and it stopped. I was thinking, "ARE YOU SERIOUS! I NEED MORE QUESTIONS TO PROVE THAT I AM ABOVE COMPETENCY!". I just felt numb, right after. It's driving me crazy just thinking about the questions I think I might have gotten right, and what I might have gotten wrong.

My question is, the times that you did fail at 75 questions. What kind of questions did you get? I'm really just trying to rationalize my chances of failing or passing. It's so hard to wait 3-4 days for my results! Ugh! :scrying:

Anyways, on a high note -- I am so happy for you that you got through this terrifying test! You should definitely treat yourself to a fun wonderful and relaxing time! You should definitely go celebrate your wonderful accomplishment! Thanks for listening to me ramble! :wink2:

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you!!! You have a courage not to give up, no matter what happen. Still you fight for it, to reach your dreams.

:anpom::ancong!::anpom:you should be very proud of yourself for your accomplishment and proud that you never gave up! motivation, determination are two key ingredients that are needed when studying. congrats to you and good luck at your new profession, new rn!:nurse:

congratulations!

as the other posters above have said, you are an inspiration.

First of all CONGRAULATIONS AND I WISH THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!!You are so right you can't do it on your own you have to have God with you. Study hard and pray and God will pull you threw...I just took my test today (March 27, 09) and I don't feel that I passed it. I took it in November and did 237 questions and didn't pass and today I done it in 89 questions and don't feel that I passed...It really makes you want to just give it up and I just cryed after I took my test because it is so frustrating when you spent all of your days off from working and do nothing but study then go in there and take the exam and feel that you didn't do nothing to prepare for this exam. Your post is very inspiring and again wish you all the luck...

Congratulations. You have a awesome testimony. You kept the faith and you deserved to pass. As you can see delay does not mean denial. I know that it was hard and you kept going. I will be testing for the 3rd time on next month and you motivated me even more. Job well done!

wow!!! congratulations!!!! u are my hero!! i will be taking the exam for the 3rd time next month! i am glad that i read your testimony, i will for sure think about your persistence and perseverance while i take my exam... it must feel great!
