  1. thanks for making this thread! it definitely helped with the job hunting.
  2. nle: in my school we had an in house review which started from nov-feb. then me and a bunch of friends enrolled in a review center. 8-9hrs of review a week for 3 months. we ate, sleep and breathe nle. then june came and i must say i'm quite lucky cause the 2007 test plan wasn't the regular test 1-3 on first day and 4-5 on the second. 5 months later i passed. nclex: i took up kaplan review and i was expecting a spoon feeding review like the usual but what i got was a self study support kind of review. was better off studying by myself with nclex books and cds questions.
  3. aren't most of our colleges/unis have a GPA on the TOR cause mine does.
  4. My experience with the license verification in PRC took about 2-3 weeks. The BON state I applied at had a license verification form which I mail to the Phil and back via fedex. Best way for you to get it is for someone in Baguio to walk the processing for you since you are already in TN.
  5. take your time answering the questions. haste is waste.
  6. I will pray for you. God bless and stay focus!
  7. study tips: 1. Pray before and after studying. 2. Brush on your basics (anatomy, funda etc.) 3. After every chapter take the quiz/exam on that topic 4. Read on a good comprehensive book and do step 2. 5. Answer 200 questions at least/day and try to apply some strategies. (e.g. ABC's, Maslow, Stable vs Unstable). More than 200 will just burn you out. Also IMHO, it's works better to know the rationale after choosing the answer than finishing on "X" number of questions and reviewing it again with the rationale. 6. If you could get hold of Kaplan's Question Trainer, it has 7 parts, answer that. Answer 1-5 first and answer 6 and 7 two weeks before your exam. 8. Take some Gingko Biloba and iron. 9. I got a lot of pharma questions so study on that. 10. Studying 8 hours is quite a chore so take breaks. 11. Exercise to prevent mental exhaustion. (e.g. 30 min walks) 12. Try to relax 3 days before the exam. 13. Last but not least remember to pray. Godbless on your exam! Focus and take your time.
  8. Thank you God I finally passed! Thank you for the encouraging stories and words! AD MAJOREM DE GLORIAM!
  9. congrats! i'm still waiting for mine.
  10. congratulations! as the other posters above have said, you are an inspiration.
  11. I took the exam yesterday and the computer shut off at 75 as well. I had 2 SATA, 1 medication computation, alot of pharma, priority and health teachings. Is it true that health teachings are recall/knowledged based? :
  12. Im going to take my exam tomorrow March 26. Please do include me and my friend kath in your prayers! God bless you all!
