  1. thank you all so much for the support. i am feeling like 4wks is not enough but on the other hand i do not want to postpone it any longer because that's what i did on the first exam. so far i am studying saunder's 4th edition for content along with its cd and nclex 3500 and lacharity prioritization book. do you guys think 4wks is enough time. i try to study for 6-8hrs but i've been reading that it is more efficient to study 3-4hrs instead but i really don't know.
  2. debbie i am so inspired by your story. i do not want to give up but at times i am so frustrated with myself but i know and will continue to study hard because i truly want this. i recently bout the lacharity book and i hope it will help. as far as studying, i am using saunders 4th edition and nclex 3500. i try to study for 6-8hrs but i've been reading that it may be more efficient to study 3-4hrs instead i really don't know. i don't even know if 4wks is enough. i do not want to change my date because the first time i kept putting it off. but thank you so much for the inspirational story and pm. congratulations and i know you'll make a great nurse.
  3. congratulations! i was wondering how many wks did you study before taking the exam the second time?
  4. hi everyone, i am going to take the test in 4wks and i am yet to sit down and focus. please can you guys give me some encouragement because i really need some--alot. i mean don't get me wrong i want to pass this second time but i lack the focus and i am so mad at myself. so please some words of wisdom, encouragement, or support would be so helpful. i truly want this and i hope and pray to pass this second time---i have to b/c @ this point --failure is not an option. thank you:cry:
  5. when i took my nclex i ran out of time and stopped @ 200 and sadly didn't pass. my other classmates went all the way to 265 and passed. when they told me about their test, they said they realized they were running out of time and sped up and finished at 265 with a few minutes left. so im thinking maybe i shouldve sped up and just finished the 265. but i know that if you run out of time or don't finish 265 only the last 60 count. im confused. what should i do the next time i take the test? take my time or speed up a little and try to finish?
  6. thank you all for the great advice
  7. congratulations:clphnds:
  8. Do you recommend any other cds that will be good practice for the nclex or should I just answer alot of questions?
  9. does anyone know if the nclex 4000 is also available for free like 3500? if so, can you please reply with the link. thank you
  10. i was just wondering....if i am running out of time should i slow down or should i try to finish all 265 questions? will it make a difference if i do or do not go all the way to 265?
