Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!
Daaang the competition on the wait list is so close. I think committedtonurse said she was a 4.0/88 teas and I'm a 3.8/87 teas. Shoot, they really should lower the curve for student preference. They'd have much more competitive classes that way. In my Pathophysiology class I'm taking practically everyone in the room got in except for any of the transfer students.

Yeah, it really sucks. I'm already planning to retake A&P 2 over the summer to turn that B into an A. Also planning to retake the TEAS. I only studied the night before I took it, so I'm regretting not preparing more. :,(
Wow, not looking good for those of us on the waitlist :/ but she did say in the email that it's possible for them to add more seats towards the end of the semester right? Upto 50 even...or does that just depend on how many decline?
She said it was common to add more students for fall. However, the 50 comment was in regards to filling declined positions. My advisor told me they may or may not add an extra 10 spots, but I think that was pure speculation.

@Azon, he said hopefully I'll hear something Monday or Tuesday, but either way to call him on Wednesday. He didn't promise me anything, but he was hoping we would hear sooner than what the email said.
