Texas Women University FALL 2016

Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!

I applied for the Spring semester (TWU Houston)and got alternate listed. I think I was like #11 and it was December, I'm not sure. I remember thinking, man idk if they'll call me. In the end, they called me the day before orientation asking me if I was still interested. I said yes, what I really wanted to say was f^#$ yea! The thing is that TWU has to wait til the end of the semester, where ppl might fail out of the school and see how many ppl actually do fail. I would call and just make sure and ask what number you are on the list and keep calling to see if you've been moved up. I hope those of you who are wait listed get a call! It's a really great program and you will need to study your bums off.

What was your GPA and Teas scores? Did you get any bumps? Do you remember what your number was based off of the GPA excel spread sheet they have online?

And you also said your advisor said there's only 30 waitlisted for Dallas right? My advisor was Donna Stallings, and apparently she is not advising anymore, so I'm in need of a new one to talk to

Yes, he said around 30ish, so I guess that could be give or take... Jeff is my advisor. He's good, but he told me a few weeks ago that he had no idea about the points system. He said he'd never heard of it, lol... But he's behind the times on technological advances. í ½í¸‰

Yeah I had Donna Stallings as an advisor too. She was awesome. I just set an appointment with Heather Close at Denton. She's the one who sent out all of the original emails and is pretty much in charge of things there.

Well the wait list email said that we'll get a better idea of what things look like April 1st (this Friday), so I doubt that we'll get anything sooner than that.

Yes, I got the same email. But I was also told we might hear sooner, which is why I asked.

Hello!! I saw that you had applied to UT Palestine and TWU Houston on another forum. I was wondering if you will be attending TWU Houston in August?! I applied to those two schools as well and was accepted to both, but I chose TWU Houston. I would love to get into contact with you, because I do not know anyone else attending TWU Houston in our application round. :)
