Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!

I was accepted to the Houston campus for Fall 2016.

Pre-req undergrad: 3.92

Pre-req science: 4.00

TEAS overall score: 92%

Points from the spreadsheet: 66.7

As I said before, I will more than likely not go ahead with this since I was accepted into UTHSC as well and that had been my preferred school. I just wanted to let everyone know that I was accepted and what my stats were. I'm happy to see some people who had been lingering here wondering about their acceptance get in!

For you waitlisted people...keep the faith! I will most likely give up my "seat" when things at UTHSC look like they are confirmed. Lets hope that it happens soon.

psanchez2: Last year, I read a post that stated that if you did not get an acceptance email, then it is probable that you didn't get in. I am not 100% certain, but you may want to investigate this by calling TWU as well. Lets hope it is a mistake! Good luck to you.

CONGRATS AGAIN!! I'm soooo happy we both got into the school of our first choice! It was nice chit chating with you this past month as we both panicked over admission haha..... I wish you the best :nurse: yayyy we're gonna be nurses woot woot !!

Yeah I got one. Well sorta. I was put on the waiting list.

GPA: 3.7

TEAS: 87
