Texas Tech 2nd Degree 2016 Cohort?

Is anyone applying to the Texas Tech 2nd degree BSN program for 2016? I am and thought I would start a thread on here to get some conversation going! I'm so excited about applying but am nervous about getting in!

Me too! I guess the admission offers were made earlier than anticipated! I applied to the Austin-Hill Country cohort. It looks like there are quite a few people on there for that cohort. Congrats everyone!

I'm just curious how much CNA experience every who was accepted has to date.

I had no CNA experience. I'm certified but have not worked as a CNA. However, I've been a licensed social worker for the last 5 years and am also a birth and postpartum doula and stressed that as my diverse experience in healthcare. How about you?

I don't have CNA experience either...I'm just certified. I have an extensive ministry background and overseas missions experience though so I think that helped!

Same, I'm certified but I haven't had any work experience yet. My background is as a medical, hospice social worker.

Can anyone tell me if they received a denial/rejection? IC applied for austin on august 10. I have not gotten accepted but not "rejected" either. wondering if they are sending them out at different times? thanks!

I also applied for Austin. I had my interview August 12 and haven't received anything yet

I received my acceptance offer to Austin this morning.

They will probably wait until all initial offers are accepted or denied. Once they know how many applicants denied, they will send offers to other applicants.
