  1. Hello, I have been accepted into both programs I applied to. One is TWU in Houston, a two-year traditional program. The other is Texas Tech's 2nd degree accelerated program in Austin, Texas. At this point, I am leaning towards TWU. My concerns: 1. I am not from Houston and am nervous to move on my own. 2. I want to finish asap (Tech, 12 months only), but I am thinking I might want to have a more balanced life in school and have more time to learn everything/work/nursing internship/etc. Im 23 and feeling to old to waste a second year in nursing school when I have the opportunity to complete my BSN-RN in 1 year instead of 2. 3. I am wanting to specialize or continue to earn my masters, so my grades are important (2 years might be better?), but dont want to spend forever in school (maybe the 1 year is better?) Could someone please tell me what is most important when picking a school? If you have been through school, what are some things you wish you had considered that you didnt think of? Honestly I would appreciate any advice anyone can give!! Thanks in advance!
  2. Can anyone tell me if they received a denial/rejection? IC applied for austin on august 10. I have not gotten accepted but not "rejected" either. wondering if they are sending them out at different times? thanks!
