Please feel free to post here the date when your I-140 petitions were filed and are handled by this Service Center.
Hopefully, this thread would serve as a tracker or updater on how long I-140 petitions are being approved by this Service Center.
Note: This Service Center is notably much faster than Nebraska Service Center in processing I-140 petitions.
You may post your case status (SRC-xxxx), when it was filed and your Priority Date (PD) if known.
Thank you.
guys, just want to inform you that my i140 has just been approvedPD ------ June 8, 2007
Date approved ---- Oct 7, 2007
just want to ask, what's next?
thnak you very much
Much has been written but now you have to wait for NVC and that could be a while, they when visas are available will issue visa fee bill and once paid they will ask for DS230. You are now affected by retrogression and have to join the queue with everyone else
PD - february 20, 2007notice of appoval - oct 22, 2007
You may want to include when the RFE was issued (if there was) for accuracy because that would be the real processing time since a petition w/ complete documentation will be approved on that date rather than given an RFE.
Thanks for updating the tracker.
Hi! Glad I've found this thread. I'm also awaiting for the lifting up of retrogression... anyways, i have also this SRC.... numbers...
PD is March 19, 2007
Approved- Sept. 10, 2007
I asked my lawyer how's it going and she says they will continue on my filing once the retro is lifted up. I'm waiting and hoping for some good news this 2008...
by the way, merry christmas and a happy, joyful new year!!!
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! God bless everyone:) let's keep our hopes high!

Thanks for reporting this. You just confirmed that Texas has really been taking 6 mos. in 2007.
FYI for everyone else reading: The next step would already be out of Texas SC. An approved I-140 is automatically forwarded to the National Visa Center if under consular processing. Once retrogression is lifted, NVC will send your lawyer the Visa Fee Bill and after paying for it, you will then be sent the DS-230 form (Visa Application form - Biographics).
An applicant should have their own NVC case #. For Manila US Embassy bound cases, the case number starts with MNL-xxx; Mumbai Consulates - BMB-xxx, etc..
An applicant can ask for their own NVC case number by e-mailing NVC and just providing your USCIS case #. All succeeding e-mail inquiries to NVC for their case status should have the NVC case # on the e-mail subject heading or they won't be able to find your file the fastest way.

For those with PD's of June, 2007 onwards, hope to hear your experiences.

Texas SC is fortunately predictably still 6 mos. or so. Good chance your I-140 will be reviewed on Jan. 2008.
Good luck and keep us updated.

Although they list schedule A it no longer exists for nurses at the moment, no idea when if at all they will bring it back.
