Regular Full-time - Vacation Relief - How does it work?
well, i don't think so. I already have my fixed work schedule for next year. Doesn't really makes sense to me why is it called vacation relief. It's not even a casual position which usually you cover sick calls and leaves.

How to become RN in British Columbia?
I would like to comment about SEC. When I took the CRNE last month (Oct. 7, '09) I met this fellow from Alberta working as an LPN there. I asked him why is he taking CRNE here in BC. He said that he both applied CRNBC and CARNA for registration and each of this colleges have different decision. CARNA required him to undergo SEC and CRNBC made him eligible to take CRNE. I would conclude that each regulatory bodies have different standards when it comes to assessment for IEN's. He passed the exam and he's optly decided in moving here in BC, wheather wise and other personal reasons....

How to become RN in British Columbia?
Hello anjulie, The passing score for IELTS in CRNBC is you should have a minimum overall test score of 6.5, minimum speaking test score of 7 and no score can be lower than 6. I believe your IELTS result should be no more than 1 year at the time of submission to CRNBC. With regards to your question about SEC, I'm not the right person to review your transcripts and education since I'm not a CRNBC assessor. They have their standards and criteria in which I do not know. Each application is handled individually. There's no way to know whether you require SEC or not unless you submit all pertinent documents for review and yes, you need to spend money for that and do the leg work. For more info, visit www.crnbc.ca Just a friendly reminder, we are not allowed to use any languages except English as outlined in the terms and agreements here. Moderators are monitoring every post. Good luck!
