11 Code Blue in your shift? I don't believe you, that's balooney. You just make me laugh. I'm working in Emergency and ICU in the one of the busiest hospital in Toronto. So far the most number of Code Blue there is 5-6.

Nobody can stop me me of filing complain to CNO, if they reconsider, it's their decision that we have to wait. For those who want to complain write them. There's no harm in trying. Some people just don't understand that taking exam and working in the hospital are two different things. How can they be the same?

Time is precious in the exam, if all have taken that initiative probably we will run out of time Before the exam start ladies were already using the men's washroom. Maybe it will work for you but not the most of us.

Work and taking exams are two different things. Work can be done in a noisy environment while the exam is not. Stressful, noisy distracting environment, alarms ringing are part of the nursing work in the hospital therefore they usually happen in the hospital environment. Alarms ringing everyday in the hospital is not a distraction in the environment but a preparation of what is going to be done (Code Blue, Code Red, IV pumps etc.).

I can't explain to you because you're not the CNO. If you're not distracted with the fire alarm so be it, you are not distracted. I was distracted, so I have to complain. We have different perception of the event that happen and that's individuality. But for sure majority will be distracted if there's a fire alarm during exam.

I did complain with the proctor, he said if it's disturbing complain to CNO because they don't have control on that. But why they don't see it before that there will be no fire alarm during exam time. It was even discuss by test takers after the exam. Then we agree that will see the results first. If we can't advocate for ourselves, who else?

i'm going to write a letter to the cno for reconsideration. anybody who was disturbed during the examination you can write the cno as well due to the following reason first, the light was not functioning well and keep on blinking that distract my eyesight. second, there was a fire alarm for about 10 minutes that was a very big disturbance and that lost my concentration. the proctor of the exam said they will give the ear plugs for those who need it but i didn't get one. these are my reasons we'll see, if they will reconsider it. if you have same reason as me, please write the cno. thanks.

It's good that NSCBN will be the one incharge with the exam, because there will be no limit how many times you take if in case you fail. And that's the real nursing, unlike those tricky questions of CNA even some Canadian graduates will be having difficulty in answering those tricky question. CNA dont have a real program if you fail 3x. They say you will have to study four years again which sound crazy as you haven't paid your OSAP yet. Canadian nursing students are trained to answer by the book about Medical Surgical and Pathophysiology, psychosocial is only a part of it.

TSON is not really good, classroom is so small, teacher just read the notes, looks like no experience of teaching whatsoever. I recommend HCPT and Topnotch Nursing Review & Workshop Center.
