  1. well, i don't think so. I already have my fixed work schedule for next year. Doesn't really makes sense to me why is it called vacation relief. It's not even a casual position which usually you cover sick calls and leaves.
  2. I'm just wondering how does Regular full time-vacation relief line works? I'm just curious why is it called vacation relief.... Any ideas?

nothing else you can do guys but try to forget and chill while waiting. It's a mental torture if you keep thinking about it. You've done your part! All the best!
  5. Hi narscathy, I'm sorry if I can't give you an exact and accurate information with this. I haven't look over to this thing. Good luck.
  6. It was long and brain-draining but managed it fortunately...
  7. I would like to comment about SEC. When I took the CRNE last month (Oct. 7, '09) I met this fellow from Alberta working as an LPN there. I asked him why is he taking CRNE here in BC. He said that he both applied CRNBC and CARNA for registration and each of this colleges have different decision. CARNA required him to undergo SEC and CRNBC made him eligible to take CRNE. I would conclude that each regulatory bodies have different standards when it comes to assessment for IEN's. He passed the exam and he's optly decided in moving here in BC, wheather wise and other personal reasons....
  8. you can send me a private message here anyway when you have 15 posts.. cheers
  9. Hello anjulie, The passing score for IELTS in CRNBC is you should have a minimum overall test score of 6.5, minimum speaking test score of 7 and no score can be lower than 6. I believe your IELTS result should be no more than 1 year at the time of submission to CRNBC. With regards to your question about SEC, I'm not the right person to review your transcripts and education since I'm not a CRNBC assessor. They have their standards and criteria in which I do not know. Each application is handled individually. There's no way to know whether you require SEC or not unless you submit all pertinent documents for review and yes, you need to spend money for that and do the leg work. For more info, visit www.crnbc.ca Just a friendly reminder, we are not allowed to use any languages except English as outlined in the terms and agreements here. Moderators are monitoring every post. Good luck!

  17. I'm 101% sure that it's 298 items in total. That's my habit to go over how long the test would be whenever I'm taking exams since student to manage my time..
  18. I'm not sure if the number of items are the same all over the provinces. Both book 1 & 2 has 149 questions. I took CRNE here in BC.
  19. Hello everyone, fingers crossed for those who still keep on waiting for their results. Well, just for information my friend here in BC failed and his score was 137. The letter said that he's 5 points down and that means the passing score would be 142, excluding maybe the experimental questions.
  20. Job well done RNGrad2006!!!:clpty:
  21. If you are a CRNBC registrant then focus on CRNBC practice standards and its specific-related issues.
  22. Thanks yabs!! Yea I did take the CRNE here in Vancouver. The exam was quiet draining at the end of the day. I feel like I have increased intracranial pressure afterwards. Not trying to scare you but that's the reality. Best of luck!
