Didn't see a thread for this, so I'm making one.
This is for the 2016 THR Versant Residency Program.
This past week (Sept. 7-11, 2015) I noticed that some of the hospitals were starting to post their residency listings- like THR Fort Worth, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Denton, a couple from Southwest, and one from Cleburne and Plano. I've checked back every day to see if any new postings have been added from other hospitals, but I haven't seen any as of yet. I'm not sure when the rest will start posting, but hopefully we can keep each other up to date with any information we find out individually.
When I applied, I had to complete a one time behavioral type survey for first time applicants.
Anyway, any information you guys can share about the interviewing process, meet and greets, and anything else regarding the residency will be appreciated. And good luck to everyone!

Hi Newnurse75. Congratulations on applying for the THR residency program! I also applied a week ago for several unit openings since I am graduating in December.
There was a behavioral survey that I had to complete after I finished applying and earlier this week I finally did get an email to complete a second GN survey. It was sent from a recruiter.
There is a THR GN Reception that I applied for as well that I think will be very beneficial. We can get information about their residency and also have networking opportunities with recruiters and hiring managers. You do have to RSVP on their website and find it through Home> Job Opportunities> Graduate Nurses Reception.
I have not received or heard anything else from them, but I continue to check my submission status multiple times a day. Hopefully this helps and I'll try to post any new details as I get them. Keep us updated and Good Luck to you too!!!
How do you check the application status? I registered and created a profile but can't find where to check the status. I really want to attend the GN Reception but I won't be able to due to finance issues Hopefully my application stands out enough to make up for it!
Nevermind! I found it! And now I'm going to bookmark it so I don't lose it!
I'm glad you found it. That stinks that you can't make it to the Reception, but yes fingers crossed we can all still get in. :). I'm about to apply to some more positions as a matter of fact haha. One of them has to go through!
Yeah. I'm probably going to do the same to try to maximize my chances.

Hello everyone!!
I filled at several applications for this residency. I will be attending the reception tomorrow.
Good luck to everybody!! I hope we ALL get into the residency program!!
How did you like the GN reception? I thought it was great especially given the opportunity to speak with some of the hiring managers face to face. Hopefully we will all start hearing something soon about getting an interview!
I enjoyed the reception! I just hope that we hear from someone. Our group had about 40-50 people there. I'm not sure how many people showed up for the 6-8 pm meeting. Let's cross our fingers it leads to something!!

Does anyone know what the next step is when the application status says "application in review process"?
Hi crj2014. The next step goes to Forwarded to Hiring Manager for Review.
Yay! I'm excited and nervous. :) Out of the ten that are pending, three got moved forwarded to Interview to be Scheduled. I got three interviews set up with THR over the next three weeks! They are General Surg., Cardiac Tele, and Trauma. I am planning to doing mock interviews with my classmate before then and to go over my nursing portfolio to make sure that it looks professional. Any other advice friends that you may give? They are panel interviews so I want to be prepared.
